The ALDA Festival and General Assembly 2024 “Local Democracy for Global Impact” took place from 13-15th of May, in Barcelona, Spain that gathered more than 200 members, partners and friends of ALDA. Among many outstanding guests were Maria Eugenia Gay, Deputy Mayor of Barcelona and Vadim Boichenko, Mayor of Mariupol. This Assembly was marked also with the elections of ALDA Governing Board.
Three whole days of conferences, workshops and interesting discussions took place whereas LDA Armenia delegate participated. Lusine Aleksandryan was among the speakers of the panel “Local Democracy in a shifting Landscape” presenting the challenges and developments towards Democracy in Armenia, the political situation impact and reforms in Local Democracy and Human Rights.
