In cooperation with Open Borders Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development LDA Armenia was involved in the project “Gender Justice Academy” as a facilitator․


The project covered the participation of high level stakeholders that were the first links dealing with domestic violence, gender equality, legal framework. The action was structured with the separate trainings referring to policemen, prosecutors, judges, civil society and media representatives. The trainings took place from February –July 2025 with the participation of experienced local and international experts-Mr. Bob Rammeloo-Senior behavior psychologist, Mr. Dikran Sarian-International consultant, trainer.


The trainings covered the issues on Regulatory framework on combating DV: Legal Definitions, types, perpetrators’ scope, Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code – Practical Challenges and Solutions, Dutch Perspective on Combating Domestic Violence, Dutch cooperation in tackling domestic violence. All trainings were accompanied by different court cases.
The project was success with positive feedback from the participants that enabled the stakeholders to gain more information on gender violence.
