“Local Democracy Agency” foundation hosted German journalists, teachers, politically active people, representatives of various CSOs and foundations organized by German Heinrich Boell Foundation on 7th of May at Gyumri Youth Palace. Gyumri was one of four cities (except Yerevan, Goris, Vanadzor) the delegation visited. The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the democratic values and youth and women empowerment, reforms in justice, political situation. LDA Armenia director Lusine Aleksandryan presented the foundation, its activities, opportunities for local authorities, geopolitical situation, involvement of Armenia in EU agenda.
