The format of the project was innovative and easy for the children to gain knowledge on rather difficult issues. More than 70 children gained knowledge on community, obligations of community leader and council, elections, procedures, their participation in decision-making processes. This initiative builds on the success of its previous formats, aiming to impart knowledge on local governance, laws, and citizen participation in a uniquely interactive and motivating way.

Young kids actively engaged in elections simulation and petitions, discovering firsthand the power of their voices being heard.
The teacher from school 7, stated: “The format and content were well-elaborated, enabling the children to grasp essential concepts without enduring long, boring, and traditional lessons. They feel an integral part of the community, embracing their roles as active citizens”.
Education about local governance and citizen participation can be not just informative, but truly engaging!
