Since February 2016 Lusine Aleksandryan twice a month conducted trainings in school 30 having a preliminary agreement with the director and teachers of the school. The trainings cover the issues on democracy, political structure of different states and Armenia, administrative division of Republic of Armenia, regional departments and local authorities responsibilities, elections, citizens’ participation in decision-making processes, human rights etc. The trainings were implemented with interactive methods, games and opinions exchange involving the school children from 12-15 age range. The children showed great interest and enthusiasm and actively participated in the trainings. Unfortunately, only one third of those children mastered knowledge about the discussing issues and for many of them these themes were quite a novelty.
